The Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Privacy Policy’) provided below is relating to use and protection of any personal information provided to Godrej Agrovet Limited ("GAVL" or "We" or "Us" or “Company” with its grammatical variation) by you through Safal App or any other App ("App").

In order to have proper real time data, effective work force planning, better business planning, insight on our area of operation, facilitate decision making process (the Purpose) the Company introduces / launches certain Apps and also for collecting data for its website and other applications. The desired purpose is purely for the business requirements of the Company. The information to be provided by you will be during the course of employment and while you will be discharging your duties.

By visiting/using/downloading/installing such App and / or website, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy. The Terms of the privacy policy shall apply to all employees, users and others who have access or shall use the App or website.

By mere use of the App, you expressly consent to your use and disclosure of your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy also applies to the personal data collected by GAVL while using / visiting the App by you. GAVL shall include any company (subsidiary, associate, group companies, etc.) directly or indirectly owned and/or controlled by GAVL or have a business relationship with it.

To have access to and / or use of the App, you may be required to provide certain information including personal information on our App at different level. GAVL respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it as would be required. We provide this Privacy Statement to inform you of our Privacy Policy and practices about the way your information is collected online and how that information is used.

1. This App can be used on/ accessed through mobile devices having Apple iOS and/or Android OS Operating Systems. GAVL will endeavour to make the App available to you on need based and as per its business policy. However the App is provided over the mobile networks and so the quality and availability of the App may be affected by the factors which are outside GAVL’s control and GAVL will not be responsible for the same on any account of whatsoever.
2. This app collects location data to enable
• Day Start and Day End : Once day started or marked by user through app we keep capturing user's background location for specific interval. Once Day ended by user through app we don't track user's background location.
• Farm List : Create Farm.
• Field Activities :
1. Customer Visit
2. Other visit
3. Dealer list (Dealer creation and Profile visit).
• Create quotation.
3. Location data in foreground and background is collected to collate reports and perform other administrative tasks, which require user location data.
4. If required, there are times when we may collect personal information including telephone number, location, route, etc. from you. Once you give us your personal information, you are not anonymous to us. Wherever possible, we indicate which fields are required and are mandatory and which fields are optional.
5. Our App automatically collects limited information about your computer’s connection to the internet, including your IP address, current location, route, map, etc., when you use/visit our App. Your IP address does not identify you personally. We use this information to enable / allow you upon your request, to download or use the App.
6. When you request information through this App, we may need to know some personal information about you. When emailing us, or opting to use we need your e-mail address, name and other limited personal identifiers, typically name, address and contact number. If we require sensitive personal data then we will ensure that the collection and use is in strict accordance with the principles of data protection and data privacy of the applicable legislation. In these circumstances, we will endeavour to take steps to ensure that your personal information is held in strict accordance with our privacy policy and is only used for the Purpose.
7. App may provide links to third-party websites for your convenience and information. If you access those links, you may / will leave the GAVL App. GAVL does not control those sites or their privacy practices, which may differ from GAVL’s. We do not endorse or make any representations about third-party websites. GAVL’s Privacy Policy does not cover the personal data you choose to give to unrelated third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any company before submitting your personal information. Some third-party companies may choose to share their personal data with Company; that sharing is governed by that third-party company’s privacy policy.
8. GAVL would takes all effective measures to protect your information in our database. Any information posted on discussion area becomes public information and is available to anyone with internet access will not be under our control and hence we shall not be liable for maintaining privacy of such information. You are advised not to share the password that you use to access the App /website and keep it confidential. In case of misuse of your password by any other person you shall be liable for its consequences. You are also advised to change the password from time to time so as to protect the data on your App.
9. GAVL reserves the right to update, change, or modify this policy at any time. The Privacy Policy shall come into force from the date of such update, change or modification.
10. If you have any questions or concerns or require any clarifications with respect to this Privacy Policy or if you would like to make a complaint about a possible breach of local privacy laws, please do so by sending us an email on mobilehelpdesk@godrejagrovet.com.
11. GAVL may terminate or suspend your access or account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms of the Privacy Policy.
12. You irrevocably agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless GAVL and its affiliates, agents, respective employees, directors, officers from and against any liability, losses, claims, damages, demands, investigations, inquiries, suits, costs and expenses (including attorney fees, legal fee and costs incidental thereto) asserted against or incurred, that arise out of or otherwise relating to your use of the Application or visiting our websites, including without limitation any obligation to be performed by you. Furthermore, you agree to hold GAVL harmless against any claims made by any third party due to, or arising out of or otherwise relating to your use of the Application, any claim arising out of damage caused to third party by you, breach of these Terms by you, or your violation of any rights of another, including any intellectual property rights.
13. The App may link to third-party web sites or App that are not owned or controlled by GAVL. GAVL has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third party web sites or App. You further acknowledge and agree that GAVL shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such content, goods or App available on or through any such App. We strongly advise you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policies of any third-party web sites or App that you visit.
14. Godrej logos, labels, trademarks, trade names, copyright, service mark, design or any other rights appearing in this App are registered and/or pending registration in the name of Godrej Agrovet Limited. The use or misuse of these trademarks, label, logos, service marks, design or copyright or any other content/rights pertaining to this App, is strictly prohibited.
15. You shall not make news releases, public announcements, give interviews, issue or publish advertisements or publicize in any other manner whatsoever in connection with this App, the contents thereof and/or other information relating to this App, the Information or other matter of this App, without the prior written approval of GAVL. Further, you shall not use any photographs/video/other materials belonging or related to GAVL in any promotional content through electronic, print or other mediums. You shall not take any screenshot(s)/screen record of any portion of this App. You shall not do any act that will in any way prejudice the rights of GAVL.
